I have many interests. On this site I will share a few of my favorites with you.
Two of my interests involve a cannon. A 3/4 scale version of a 6 lb James. The piece is used in Civil War re-enacting and by the JROTC Honor Guard at Dixie Hollins High School during the football season. Seperate photo albums for each activity can be found in the links above..

Bluegrass Music is also high on my list of interests. A few years ago I found the newly opened Bluegrass Shop, met the owner, Elson Smith and got involved with the shop. I edit the newsletter, hang around at the jams and just generaly find other ways to help out when I can. Sadly, we lost Elson last year to a heart attack, but his spirit lives on. Rick and Fred have bought the shop and are keeping it going and prospering in a way that would make Elson very proud!
