Where there are no strangers, only friends you haven't met yet!

Here is a collection of various things, some shots from the jam sessions, others from the 'Picnic/Jam In The Park' which happen about three times a year at a Lake Seminole Park.

The Bluegrass Shop

The official oicture of the Bluegrass Shop with our founder, Elson Smith. Elson passed way a week before our Picninc/Jam in the Park last Novenmber.

The Early Days

This was a jam back in 2004, when they were first getting started good. The wall with the hanging guitars is no longer there. It gave way to an archway conecting the two shops after the expansion.

The 'Archway'

A view looking into the expansion area where the jams and 'Concert Series' are now held. The sign over the door says, 'Bluegrass Lane'

Practice Makes Perfect...in most cases...

I just don't happen to fit the mold! Sigh!!

'Hot Doggin' It'!!

While Elson watches. Fred does the honors at the grill.

Hurricane Preparations???

...Or is Fred boarding up the windows to keep the music from leaking out??

Part Of The Group At One Of The Seminole Park Picnic/Jams

A good time can be had playing or listening at the jams.

Picnic In The Park

One of the different groups that form at our picnics. Small groups of Old Time, Classic Country, and other related genres often form to give a well rounded and varied effect to the jams.

Bluegrass Jam Kitchen

The 'heart' of the picnic, the grille. The Bluegrass Shop supplies cahrcoal and soft drinks. All you need is whatever you want to cook, and in many cases someone will also cook it for you! It doesn't get much better!
